About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate business goals, market needs and customer workflows into solution options with clear trade-offs
  • Own end-to-end solution design for significant initiatives
  • Challenge and refine requirements and distinguish real problems from requested features
  • Present architectural options and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, customers and clinical staff
  • Create solution overviews, capability maps, integration blueprints, effort assessments and impact assessments
  • Partner with Delivery on sequencing and phasing
  • Develop deep understanding of audiology clinical and operational workflows
  • Lead technical and solution workshops with customers and partners
  • Support pre-sales through technical scoping, solution proposals, RFP and tender responses, shaping and estimation
  • Advise key accounts during escalations and distributed-system or integration troubleshooting
  • Feed customer and market insight into platform strategy and product roadmap
  • Shape domain models, bounded contexts, aggregates and integration points
  • Define APIs and event contracts across microservices and cross-domain workflows
  • Evaluate initiatives for architectural feasibility and service ownership
  • Support teams with high-level design, technology selection and architectural patterns
  • Participate in architecture reviews and platform governance
  • Coach teams on Domain-Driven Design, Clean Architecture and engineering practices
  • Maintain architecture diagrams, specifications, interface documentation and ADRs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years in software engineering
  • 5+ years in architecture or solution-architecture roles within enterprise SaaS
  • Proven ability to turn ambiguous business needs into implementable solution designs
  • Experience working alongside Product, Sales or Customer Success as technical solution owner
  • Experience designing integration architectures using message buses, event streaming, REST APIs and webhooks
  • Experience with comparable enterprise system landscapes
  • Practical knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures
  • Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design and Clean Architecture
  • Solid understanding of security and compliance for regulated data, including GDPR
  • Strong background in Azure cloud services
  • Ability to produce technical documentation and diagrams using C4 or similar
  • Strong communication skills for leadership, engineering and customer audiences
  • Customer-facing and commercial experience, including pre-sales
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, healthcare integrations, AI/ML or Azure certifications is advantageous
  • Familiarity with .NET and React is advantageous
  • Degree in Computer Science or a similar field is a nice-to-have
  • Candidate must be based in the EU
