About the role
- Lead the end-to-end redesign and development of our Help Center, focusing on user experience, scalability, and functionality.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into a clear technical and design plan.
- Build a responsive, mobile-friendly interface within the Zendesk platform.
- Integrate with our existing knowledge base platform.
- Ensure the new Help Center is scalable and easy for our team to maintain and update.
- Optimize the site for fast loading times and SEO.
- Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure a bug-free and smooth user experience.
- Document the technical architecture and provide a handover to our internal team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a web developer, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrable experience customizing and building themes within Zendesk Guide.
- Familiarity with Zendesk curlybars and coding structure.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and a strong eye for visual aesthetics.
- Experience with API integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
