About the role
- Lead full projects or portfolios, ensuring successful execution across all workstreams.
- Develop strategic project approaches, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Oversee all major deliverables and ensure alignment with client goals and organizational standards.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the project, including event planning, overseeing project activities, coordinating team members, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, critical milestones and key deliverables.
- Serve as the primary client relationship manager.
- Lead high-level presentations, briefings, and strategic discussions.
- Identify opportunities for expanded support and long-term partnerships.
- Supervise and mentor Managers, Associates, and Analysts.
- Provide performance feedback and support professional development.
- Contribute to internal initiatives, process improvements, and organizational strategy.
- Lead proposal development, including technical strategy, pricing input, and partnership coordination.
- Develop thought leadership, represent the organization externally, and support brand visibility.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Oversee project budgets, staffing, and resource planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, education, or a related field.
- 10+ years of relevant project management experience; experience in education or government projects preferred.
- PMP certification is required.
- Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet required.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets.
- Knowledge of education policies, regulations, and state or federal program requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder groups.
