About the role
- Install, start up, maintain, and repair IWK equipment on-site, with full documentation
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues; provide detailed service reports and corrective actions
- Optimize equipment performance through fine-tuning and process adjustments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to share field data and drive product improvements
- Serve as the primary technical representative, maintaining professional communication and customer relationships
- Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
- Train customers on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Plan and execute daily work schedules efficiently
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Factory Automation, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical environments, ideally with automated or packaging equipment
- Proven expertise in servicing automated equipment (mechanical, electrical, controls)
- Experience with Schneider Electric control systems and function block programming is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of PLC logic and HMI interfaces
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic diagrams
- Familiarity with remote troubleshooting tools (e.g., TeamViewer, NetSupport Manager)
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
