About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical leadership for the design and implementation of industrial automation solutions
Perform site surveys and lead requirements definition
Define project scope and prepare estimates
Design, develop, and implement process, utility and building control systems
Lead and mentor a project team for the development of functional specifications and detailed design specifications
Develop project plan, test plan, test scripts, protocols, and reports
Coordinate and review technical design and configuration activities
Lead installation and start-up of systems or applications
Lead testing and qualification activities
Ensure proper documentation and resolution of test discrepancies
Report to the Project Manager on project progress and issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience with the deployment of industrial automation solutions
Experience with the design and deployment of industrial network infrastructure and IIoT solutions
Technical knowledge and practical experience with industrial platform solutions from Rockwell, Aveva or Siemens
Familiar with agile software development methodologies
Knowledgeable in relational databases and programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Functional Block Diagram, Structured Text, Python, C#/C++, MS SQL
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and leadership skills, fluent in English, spoken and written
Experience with the regulated industry requirements preferred
Willing to travel to manufacturing/customer sites when required
