About the role

  • Proactive development, standardization and optimization of controlling and finance processes with consistent use of SAP standard processes
  • Managing and actively contributing to internal projects, including the further development of profit-center accounting and project controlling
  • Acting as the functional interface and working closely with Accounting, business units and management
  • Preparing ad-hoc analyses and decision-making materials for senior management
  • Preparing company planning and rolling forecasts, including plan vs. actual, forecast vs. actual and variance analyses for the group
  • Enhancing reports, KPI systems and analyses to steer the company
  • SAP-based controlling in the area of projects

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable qualification with a focus on controlling/finance
  • Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a mid-sized or service-oriented environment
  • Very good knowledge of HGB and IFRS and confident practical application
  • Strong analytical skills, high numerical literacy and a structured mindset
  • Solid SAP knowledge, ideally with experience in SAP customizing (desirable)
  • Very confident in MS Excel and common reporting and BI tools
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to work in a team
  • Experience with controlling processes in SAP ERP / S/4 HANA
  • Good to very good English skills
