About the role

  • Conceptualize and plan mechatronic test systems with a focus on CAD design
  • Build, commission, and optimize test systems
  • Contribute to the development of test plans
  • Perform performance, functional, and system tests to comprehensively characterize mechatronic components and systems
  • Analyze test results, identify and mitigate technical risks
  • Assist in preparing documentation (design, verification, validation, and calibration specifications)
  • Participate in internal design reviews and agile meetings

Requirements

  • Studying Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, eDrawings, etc.)
  • Experience creating and executing test plans/test procedures
  • Knowledge of programming (C/C++, Python, MATLAB) and basic PLC (SPS) fundamentals is a plus
  • Analytical thinking and enthusiasm for complex technical challenges
  • German and English proficiency, both written and spoken
