About the role

  • Supports the day-to-day accounting function for Atreides USA
  • Requires experience and knowledge of US government contracting requirements including related cost accounting standards

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years full-cycle accounting experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP / IFR
  • Experience working in a GovCon organization with knowledge of DCAA, DCMA, FAR , DFARS
  • Experience functioning within a cross-jurisdictional framework that supports FOCI mitigation, preferred.
  • Strong Excel and cost accounting skills preferred

  • Record all transactions in the US entity GL (currently QBO)
  • Sending all invoices to customers
  • Recording all expense transactions
  • Running payroll
  • Completing all year end reconciliations for benefits, payroll taxes, etc.
  • Build all month end working papers to support US GAAP and/or IFRS financials
  • Provide required working papers to support combination of entity financials with related consolidated group of companies
  • Estimates/accruals for corporate tax, ensuring instalments are made on time
  • Review for any SALT issues (Nexus, exemption certificates etc.)
  • Setting up outbound payments
  • Ensure accounting process and system alignment with Atreides Group entities including chart-of-accounts and accounting workflows
  • Maintain DCAA/DCMA/FAR/DFARS-compliant cost structures
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation
  • Ensure general ledger captures labor, delivery costs and other direct costs related to Atreides customer programs
  • Work with Finance to support program budgeting including the determination of indirect rates, burden calculations, and cost accumulations
  • Support variance analysis and cost modeling activities
