About the role

  • Identify and analyze the operational needs within the scope of one or more programs for their domain
  • Define technical-operational concepts and scenarios
  • Identify the main operational performance criteria
  • Specify solutions and their interfaces
  • Manage non-functional requirements
  • Identify qualification/verification requirements
  • Define and model the functional architecture
  • Consider and model the architecture of the systems' environment
  • Ensure the consistency of subsystems with the overall system design
  • Define and maintain the product breakdown structure
  • Ensure specification traceability
  • Prepare technical reviews
  • Contribute to coordinating demonstrations with the client
  • Support pre-sales teams
  • Actively contribute to the training and understanding of systems engineering activities.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in systems engineering (more than 5 years)
  • Systems modeling
  • Modeling and requirements traceability tools
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; excellent written communication
  • Interpersonal skills, proactivity, autonomy, rigor
  • Knowledge of the ground military domain is a plus
  • Familiarity with and implementation of systems engineering standards is a plus
  • Familiarity with Cesam, Arcadia and/or system modeling (SysML, UML) is a plus
  • Experience with Enterprise Architect or equivalent is a plus
  • Degree from an engineering school or equivalent Master’s degree (Bac+5)
