About the role

  • Act as the central point of contact for clients and ensure regular monitoring of service quality.
  • Coordinate and lead technical and contractual follow-up meetings.
  • Ensure effective communication between internal teams, partners and clients.
  • Monitor execution of the maintenance contract and the operational maintenance (MCO) of the supercomputers.
  • Oversee the implementation of the technical and human resources required to meet commitments (SLA/SLR).
  • Manage equipment availability and ensure compliance with service levels.
  • Initiate and manage escalation procedures in case of critical incidents.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on hardware and software upgrades.
  • Ensure proper application of operational procedures and optimize existing processes.
  • Oversee incident reporting: drafting reports, quality metrics, and dashboards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and delivered services.

Requirements

  • 2- to 5-year post-secondary degree (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Systems, Networks or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in production Linux environments, ideally in HPC or other critical infrastructures.
  • Strong Linux expertise.
  • HPC-specific knowledge appreciated: high-speed networks (InfiniBand, Omni-Path), parallel storage (GPFS, Lustre), centralized storage (e.g., NetApp), HPC ecosystem (MPI, Slurm), etc.
  • Ability to understand and manage complex technical environments.
  • Ability to analyze critical situations and make decisions.
  • Synthesis skills and excellent writing abilities (quality assurance plans, reports…).
  • Proficiency in contract management, service commitments and client communication.
  • Strong rigor, service orientation, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service mindset.
  • Energetic, methodical and detail-oriented.
  • Passion for demanding technical environments.
  • High adaptability, professionalism and autonomy.
