About the role

  • Contribute to strategic and commercial decision-making, planning, budgeting, and forecasting to drive long-term performance
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with remote finance teams and key stakeholders to understand expectations and internal processes
  • Oversee and manage financial performance of the global business line, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Direct responsibility for the P&L and perform month-end activities to ensure completeness and correctness of management reporting
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics and cost drivers, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management
  • Actively challenge costs incurred in the service organization and identify savings opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements across all regions
  • Maintain daily contact with executives to communicate financial impact of decisions and report performance to senior management and board members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, marketing, sales) to align financial strategies with business objectives
  • Proactively recognize problems, implement solutions, and drive business performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • A master’s degree or professional financial certification (e.g., ACCA/CIMA/CFA) will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial controlling
  • Minimum of 3 years focused on global operations and business line control
  • Very good IFRS knowledge with application experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven track record of business partnering
  • Ability to influence senior management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent business orientation and understanding of key drivers and constraints
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards, commitment to transparency and accountability
