About the role
- Responsible for the team in charge of consolidation processes, in coordination with the IFRS expert who will handle technical topics (impairment tests, taxes, employee benefits)
- Responsible for the reporting and close process, for actual cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual) as well as forecasting cycles (budget, reforecasts and strategic plan)
- Define and update consolidation processes (calendar, controls and analyses)
- Manage 1 consolidator (organize tasks within the team, ensure a positive team dynamic, recruit if necessary)
- Assist subsidiaries in correctly uploading their financial packages into the consolidation tool HFM and ensure deadlines are met
- Review subsidiaries’ consolidation packages and ensure their accuracy and compliance with IFRS
- Centralize the financial information required to produce the Group’s monthly and forecast consolidations; provide all analyses requested by Management
- Identify, perform and document consolidation adjustments
- Prepare the Group consolidated financial statements and the related notes for the half-year and annual consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS
- Manage relationships with the various consolidation stakeholders in the subsidiaries (accountants, financial managers, treasury, tax)
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, with a specialization in consolidation
- 8 to 10 years of experience in a finance department in accounting, management control, reporting or consolidation, with a minimum of 2–3 years of experience managing a full consolidation process (in-house or in advisory)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation processes
- Good knowledge of consolidation and reporting tools
- Proficiency in consolidation software (HFM) and office productivity tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with international teams
- Fluent English required for international communications
