- manage a team of approximately 5 direct reports
- working to implement scalable fault-tolerant quantum computing using neutral atom qubits
- day-to-day responsibilities range from project management, infrastructure development, budgeting decisions, technical mentoring, and individual contributions
Requirements
- PhD in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 years industry experience
- Temperamentally suited to work at a fast-growing, early stage startup: self-motivated, humble, driven, collaborative, and has a high tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse team of experimental physicists, hardware, and software engineers.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a changing work environment
- Ability and passion for hiring the best Quantum Engineers from academia and industry
- Familiarity with Python and Git software version control
