About the role
- We are looking for an Origination- Commercial Analyst (Contractor) based in Santiago de Chile.
- The origination analyst is responsible for supporting the lines of work dedicated to finding new business for the company.
- Collaborating in elaborating reports to various internal and external stakeholders to obtain approvals and resources to develop the business plan and support in the participation of private and public.
- Manages the portfolio of potential clients and keeps the customer database up to date with contacts and new demand opportunities to materialize the company's pipeline.
- Conduct extensive research on the energy market, analyzing trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics.
- Coordinate with the commercial area's support, preparing reports for the board and other stakeholders to obtain internal approvals or generate informational material.
- Search and parameterization of potential new clients based on public information from agencies such as CEN, CNE, Ministry of Energy, etc., and consumer associations.
- Maintenance and administration of the company's CRM, coordination of campaign generation, and keeping reports up to date for the commercial area.
- Support in the search for new and creative ways to materialize our pipeline, such as new demand not existing today in the network, behind-the-meter solutions, and large-scale electrification that the company can supply.
Requirements
- At least two years in similar areas or departments or developing similar tasks in utilities, IPPs, regulatory entities, traders, or other generation or energy commercialization companies.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in database management.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in coding (Python preferred).
- Intermediate to advanced skills in modeling project valuation.
