About the role
- Monitor strategic planning activities and the definition of the hotel's rates.
- Monitor sales channel rates, manually checking partner-applied prices online.
- Analyze daily results of the competitive set, seeking information on new prospects.
- Assist in the RFP process, from initial data collection and outreach to completing and analyzing received proposals.
- Ensure rate parity with distribution partners (Booking, Decolar, etc.).
- Enter rate information into the channel distribution system.
- Interface with the Events department when accommodation is involved, aiming for better negotiation outcomes.
- Negotiate group reservations.
- Perform daily analysis of strategic positioning across channels, monitoring competitor rates and opportunities.
- Check availability to open or close sales channels, preventing overbooking.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in progress or completed
- Experience in the role
- Required knowledge of Omnibees, Excel, and extranets (Booking, Expedia, Decolar, Letsbook)
- English fluency preferred
