About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide hands-on support to leaders and team members across assigned locations.
- Coordinate with leaders and Talent Acquisition on requisitions, interview logistics, hiring updates, and onboarding.
- Monitor new hire progress and help managers address onboarding or early engagement concerns.
- Advise managers on routine employee relations, policy interpretation, performance documentation, corrective action, and attendance matters.
- Prepare talking points, templates, and follow-up steps to support timely, consistent issue resolution.
- Assist leaders with engagement follow-up, recognition, communication, and retention activities.
- Track performance management activities and assist managers with documentation and action plans.
- Use HR reports to identify follow-up needs related to staffing, turnover, compliance, training completion, and employee relations trends.
- Support consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and federal, state, and local employment requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution with a focus on Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or other related course of study.
- 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Manager, or similar role supporting employee relations, HR operations, and manager guidance.
- PHR or SHRM-CP desired.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
- Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and workplace terminology.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
