About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide an independent perspective in underwriting and managing complex Wholesale Banking loans
- Partner with Relationship Managers and Credit Portfolio Managers in delivering credit solutions
- Lead the independent underwriting process for new and renewal opportunities
- Provide in-depth analysis of financial statements and credit risk management deliverables
- Prepare detailed financial projections within provided solutions or Excel spreadsheets
- Manage assigned portfolio by monitoring performance and trends
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Seven or more years of experience in a commercial lending environment
- Experience across multiple lines of business, including Commercial & Industrial, real estate development and builder lines etc.
- Advanced written and analytical skills for analyzing balance sheet structure, income and cash flow trends
- Experience with financial statement spreading and proficiency in preparing pro-forma statements within Moody's or other software
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
