About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, deepen and maintain relationships with investment management clients and trust clients
- Perform and coordinate client estate planning
- Conduct full needs assessments with current and potential customers
- Maintain long-term client relationships by providing excellent customer service
- Handle customer calls and inquiries professionally
- Identify and refer business to other areas within the Bank
- Work with investment, tax, and legal professionals to meet client needs
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
- 10+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in a bank trust environment
- Experience with trust and estate laws and regulations
- CFP, CTFA, CPA, MBA or law degree preferred
- Superior customer service skills
- Knowledge of financial and estate planning techniques
- Knowledge of investment theory and strategy
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
- Well organized and detail-oriented
