About the role
- Assisting the team in different procurement processes while analyzing the current process and making recommendations for improving efficiency
- Assist with strategic sourcing initiatives across various categories
- Conduct process improvement and total cost analyses; prepare budget variance analysis on expenditure
- Use strong communications with strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills to compel others to take action
- Leverage planning and resource management skills to deliver exceptional results
- Acquire an understanding of the banking environment; especially as it relates to value generation, ethics and compliance considerations
- Shadow multiple department members to gain an understanding of individual roles within the team
- Note: Travel between local facilities, company paid, may be required
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Currently working on a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations or a similar degree
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university is required
- Students must be undergraduates entering their junior or senior year or currently pursuing a graduate level degree
- Submission of transcripts and two professional or academic references
