About the role
- Monitor, review and triage security alerts and log events (SIEM) for proper response
- Analyze phishing reports and threat intel emails to identify and respond to potential threats
- Perform security scans on banking systems and assist in vulnerability assessment and analysis
- Develop and update security policies, standards, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Assist with security projects, including preparing dashboards and reports using tools like Excel or Power BI
- Identify, design and collect metrics for the Information Security Program
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Currently working on degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Physics, Engineering or a related field
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university is required
- Students must be undergraduates entering their junior or senior year or currently pursuing a graduate level degree
- Must be available to work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday
- Must submit a resume and cover letter highlighting accomplishments, professional and academic goals, and expectations of this internship position
- Submission of transcripts and two professional or academic references
