About the role

  • Monitor, review and triage security alerts and log events (SIEM) for proper response
  • Analyze phishing reports and threat intel emails to identify and respond to potential threats
  • Perform security scans on banking systems and assist in vulnerability assessment and analysis
  • Develop and update security policies, standards, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist with security projects, including preparing dashboards and reports using tools like Excel or Power BI
  • Identify, design and collect metrics for the Information Security Program

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Currently working on degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Physics, Engineering or a related field
  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university is required
  • Students must be undergraduates entering their junior or senior year or currently pursuing a graduate level degree
  • Must be available to work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday
  • Must submit a resume and cover letter highlighting accomplishments, professional and academic goals, and expectations of this internship position
  • Submission of transcripts and two professional or academic references
