About the role
- Responsible for using best practice Project Management methods to create project plans to fit stakeholders/customers’ needs
- Fully accountable for the result of the project
- Defines project scope and objectives ensuring project members understand expectations
- Prepares, maintains, and submits project status reports
- Responsible for defining, teaching, and enforcing good project management best practices
- Recognizes when problems surface or potential problems are looming
- Promotes customer involvement by communicating project status to stakeholders
- Applies lessons learned from prior projects
Requirements
- A minimum Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of project management experience – preferably from a financial services or corporate environment
- Detailed knowledge of PMBOK and PM best practices
- Self-motivated, quick and assertive
- Extremely detailed oriented and organized
- Exceptional time management skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals
- Deep knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics
- Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISIO
