About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leading and managing a broad range of planning applications and associated supporting documents for a wide range development projects
  • Providing strategic planning advice to a varied private sector client base

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MRTPI qualified with significant post-qualification experience
  • Chartered status
  • Proven experience within a planning consultancy environment or similar
  • Strong technical knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate issues and ideas effectively
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Leadership experience and the ability to manage and inspire teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a wide range of projects
  • Be flexible, adaptable and prepared to take on new challenges and work from other AtkinsRéalis or client office locations
