About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Development of computer models to investigate water network issues and investment needs
  • Analysis of data and supporting development of engineering solutions
  • Advising clients to improve asset investment decisions
  • Supporting development of reports and project deliverables
  • Prepare and adhere to health and safety risk assessments
  • Support the development of tender responses and fee estimates
  • Supervising staff and providing professional development guidance
  • Contributing towards technical innovation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience/awareness of urban drainage modelling within InfoWorks ICM (or CS)
  • GIS packages such as ARC or MapInfo
  • Civil engineering knowledge advantageous
  • Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues
  • Experience in Wastewater modelling and distribution networks
  • Building and calibrating network models
  • Expertise using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange for senior roles
  • Proven track record in coordinating and delivering technically excellent projects
  • Ability to check the work of others for quality assurance
