About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Undertaking the successful delivery of Traffic Signal and ITS schemes
- Liaison with clients to provide technical advice and solutions
- Assist and guide less experienced staff on technical delivery
- Delivering high quality technical reports and presentations
- Developing commercial knowledge, including preparation of cost estimates and scopes
- Undertaking project management tasks, including monitoring budgets and resolving issues
- Working both as part of a team and individually to ensure delivery to budget, time and quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Developing technical knowledge and enthusiasm for delivering projects in the traffic signals sector
- Knowledge of design processes and best practice, traffic signals / highways design and traffic signal operation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with innovative solutions
- Proven ability to learn new skills and understand complex technical projects
- Good communication skills including presentations and client meetings
- Strong awareness of Health and Safety issues and CDM
- Either already a member of or keen to become a member of a relevant Professional Institute
