About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and review conceptual and detailed transmission line designs
  • Analyze project scope and technical studies
  • Prepare key engineering deliverables such as Scopes of Work and reports
  • Select materials and develop specifications for procurement
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and provide site support
  • Supervise and mentor engineers and technicians

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution
  • P.Eng. registration or Equivalent required
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in Transmission and Distribution lines design
  • Knowledge of PLS CADD, PLS TOWER and PLS POLE software essential
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), French as a second language will be an asset
