Key responsibilities & impact

inspect and verify Electrical utilities construction performed by Contractors
review essential Contract documents and project specific plans for compliance
verify construction complies with IFC drawings and Client specifications
prepare site reports and maintain a deficiency register
monitor Contractor safety performance and report deviations
monitor environmental performance and report violations

Requirements

What you’ll need

qualified Civil Professional Engineer or graduated from a Civil/Structural Post-Secondary Engineering or Technical program
past Construction, Utilities and/or Inspection experience
experience in Electrical Utilities Construction of Transmission or Stations projects would be an asset
strong knowledge of Ontario Construction Regulations
ability to interpret Design drawings and Standards
proficiency with MS Office
self-accountable with the ability to work independently
