About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Use your experience as a Railway Civil Design Engineer to support and lead designs as Checker or CRE
Be responsible for Price and Programme for your design scope
Work closely with Construction and Assurance to ensure smooth delivery of projects
Support the development of junior members of the team
Produce high quality deliverables including calculations, forms and drawings
Use your multi-disciplinary experience to provide coordinated and constructable designs
Support tendering of new projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience leading multi-disciplinary design and experience of construction
Experience of ancillary civil engineering supporting track renewals
Multi-disciplinary design experience
Mentorship of junior team members
IEng / CEng (or working towards) with a relevant professional body
Working towards CRE (desirable)
Project Engineer experience (desirable)
