About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare detailed construction cost estimates for rail and civil projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications and technical documents to ensure estimation accuracy
- Perform quantity take-offs from plans and BIM models
- Develop unit rates for labor, equipment and materials
- Analyze historical data and conduct market benchmarking
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to optimize bid strategies
- Actively contribute to proposal preparation for large-scale projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related field
- 8+ years' experience in estimating for rail infrastructure and heavy civil construction
- Deep knowledge of rail systems and track construction methods
- Thorough understanding of civil works and infrastructure construction practices
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical data.
