About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provision of cost-effective engineering design solutions and high-quality customer service.
- Engage with clients to understand technical needs and develop successful working relationships.
- Ensure successful delivery of high-quality engineering works to time, quality, budget and customer satisfaction.
- Specification, design and implementation of PLC, DCS and SCADA based systems.
- Instrumentation systems specification and design.
- Verification of junior engineer’s EC&I technical documentation.
- Assist with technical input for proposals/tenders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Capable of working on diverse projects both independently and under senior supervision within a team.
- Knowledge and experience of a broad range of control systems and electrical control equipment and its applications in automated and safety related systems.
- Experienced in the design, substantiation, verification & validation and safety of high integrity software-based protection and/or safety related control systems.
- Working towards or already achieved Chartered engineer status with a relevant professional body.
- Accredited Functional Safety Engineer (e.g. TUV Rheinland IEC161508/IEC61511 FSEng).
