About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead all project team members ensuring work progresses with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements
Assemble a project team through recruiting, interviewing and/or selecting staff
Responsible for all contract management including scope & change control, requirements management, subcontractor and supplier management
Develop project scope and deliverable definition in compliance with the governing contract documents
Accountable for all aspects of nuclear and industrial safety
Apply appropriate key performance indicators to monitor project health and establish reporting protocols
Responsible for rigorous risk analysis and project controls methodology
Form and maintain relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Prepare and manage budgets and provide regular formal reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

BSc in Engineering or equivalent is an asset
10+ years’ experience leading various types of projects including construction, manufacturing or engineering services projects
Experience working in a Nuclear environment is an asset
Working knowledge of industrial safety and nuclear safety culture
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blueprints and specifications
Understanding of nuclear supply chain and materials management principles
Understanding of project delivery methodology including earned value, critical path scheduling, prime contract and subcontract management, procurement and supply chain methodology, and inspection and test plans
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills
