About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyse structural assets using condition and inspection data
Support projects focused on material performance, deterioration and degradation in structures
Use and help develop deterioration models and curves
Interpret client data, identify trends, draw conclusions and provide clear, evidence-based advice
Review and validate asset data
Use coding or programming skills, where relevant
Contribute to the development of asset management approaches for structures and other transport infrastructure assets
Prepare clear, concise client outputs
Collaborate with engineers, asset managers and other disciplines
Support project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

A STEM degree eg: Civil Engineering, Engineering or a related discipline
Early career to mid stages of a career in civil engineering, asset management, data analysis or a related field
A strong interest in infrastructure asset management, civil engineering and whole-life infrastructure planning
Strong analytical and numerical skills
An understanding of asset management principles and asset modelling; awareness of ISO 55001 would be beneficial
Awareness of relevant UK standards and guidance, including DMRB
Experience in a consultant, contractor or infrastructure-related environment would be advantageous
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
A proactive and curious approach to learning, problem solving and continuous improvement
Experience with coding or data analysis tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, Excel, Power BI or similar would be advantageous.
