Electrical Engineering Specialist – P1

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review and process power connection requests from residential and industrial/commercial customers
- Assist Engineers in developing plan and profile drawings for overhead lines and underground cables
- Perform simple estimates using utility material database data
- Work closely with peers and other discipline designers to ensure accurate delivery
- Maintain good working relationships with internal groups supporting the project
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized University
- Experience in the field of Electrical Distribution network
- Interaction/participation in technical discussions with customers
- Exposure to Toronto Hydro Engineering and Construction Standards is an asset
- Reasonable proficiency in AutoCAD, Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise, and Electronic Document Management Systems is an asset
- Good written and verbal communication skills
