About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support environmental impact assessments, permitting studies and other client requests
Identification and assessment of air quality impacts
Atmospheric dispersion modelling
Contaminant emissions inventories
GHG emissions and mitigation
Development of dust management plans
Odor assessment
Development and implementation of ambient air quality monitoring programs
Indoor air quality sampling programs and recommendations
Report writing
Lead and support business development activities, including client relationship management, opportunity identification, and proposal development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or another relevant engineering degree
PMP or CAPM certification
10+ years of progressive experience in air quality
Experience with atmospheric contaminants and GHG emissions calculations
Experience with the AERMOD and Calpuff dispersion models
Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with Python programming and panda’s library for predictive modelling
Knowledge of federal, provincial, and local regulations related to air quality and emissions compliance
Experience preparing competitive proposals and supporting business development
