About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the development of business opportunities and oversee project execution across the Atlantic region
Act as technical authority and escalation point for complex and high-risk marine structural projects
Define and approve design approaches, standards, and methodologies for ports and marine infrastructure
Provide technical oversight and direction to senior and intermediate engineers
Oversee QA/QC across project deliverables and ensure alignment with applicable codes and standards
Support and contribute to proposal development, scope definition, fee estimation, and technical content
Maintain trusted client relationships and provide senior technical input to support long-term client needs
Provide construction-phase technical leadership and resolve complex field issues
Mentor senior engineers and support technical progression and succession planning within the Ports & Marine team

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.A.Sc./B.Eng. in Civil or Structural Engineering
P.Eng. (PEGNL, ENS) with ability to obtain registration in other Canadian jurisdictions
Approximately 15 to 18+ years of experience in the design and delivery of ports and marine structures
Extensive experience with reinforced concrete, steel, and foundation systems in marine environments
Proven leadership in technical reviews, mentoring, and multidisciplinary coordination
