About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, assess, and monitor risks related to railway infrastructure and O&M activities.
- Review and evaluate risk registers prepared by O&M contractors.
- Ensure proper risk mitigation measures are implemented and tracked.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Risk Management Policies and Procedures.
- Monitor and report risks relevant to each O&M contractor.
- Provide recommendations to minimize operational, safety, and financial risks.
- Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure alignment on risk management practices.
- Support negotiation and resolution of risk-related issues.
- Review and manage the Consultant’s internal risk policies.
- Advise the Employer on risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of all risk management activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably in railway or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of railway systems and associated operational risks.
- Knowledge of corporate risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to develop policies, procedures, and risk frameworks.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Proficiency in risk management tools and documentation.
