About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks related to railway infrastructure and O&M activities.
  • Review and evaluate risk registers prepared by O&M contractors.
  • Ensure proper risk mitigation measures are implemented and tracked.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Risk Management Policies and Procedures.
  • Monitor and report risks relevant to each O&M contractor.
  • Provide recommendations to minimize operational, safety, and financial risks.
  • Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure alignment on risk management practices.
  • Support negotiation and resolution of risk-related issues.
  • Review and manage the Consultant’s internal risk policies.
  • Advise the Employer on risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation and reporting of all risk management activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably in railway or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of railway systems and associated operational risks.
  • Knowledge of corporate risk management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing risk registers and mitigation plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop policies, procedures, and risk frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • Proficiency in risk management tools and documentation.
