About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate or manage members of a team of Process engineers for delivery of technical design work
- Responsible for producing and reviewing technical deliverables such as design reports
- Work independently with minimal technical guidance
- Provide technical input into project design deliverables
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues
- Provide technical support for bid proposals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, preferably IChemE or CIWEM
- A degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent (e.g. Environmental, Water and Waste water engineering, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of and design experience in waste water treatment processes and principles
- Practical knowledge of current design codes and standards
- Experience of design and delivery of projects with adherence to UK safety and environmental regulations
- Proven experience in leading elements in treatment process design
- Proven experience in leading, coordinating or managing people in a Process engineering design delivery team
- Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance
- Strong communication skills
