Electrical Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and support the design of building Electrical systems (power distribution, emergency and standby power systems, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage systems, etc)
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Provide technical support to project managers and design teams
- Perform design-related calculations and cost estimates for construction work
- Carry out coordination and site follow-up, including monitoring construction activities and resolving technical issues
- Coordinate the work of the multidisciplinary building Electrical and electrical design team
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, project schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate all project activities and ensure communication with the client
- Assess risks and propose optimal strategies to ensure project success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO)
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in building Electrical engineering within a consulting engineering firm
- Relevant experience in project coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit
