About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of structural engineers and designers
Serve as the technical authority for structural design on complex industrial projects
Review, approve, and ensure the quality of structural deliverables across the team
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, defining project requirements and delivering solutions
Drive continuous improvement in design quality, project delivery, and team efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, MEP, and process engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred; MBA or leadership training a plus)
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; ability to obtain additional state licensure
15+ years of structural engineering experience, including industrial project experience
3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and delivering complex projects
Strong expertise in structural design tools (e.g., RISA, STAAD, Tekla Tedds)
Experience with Revit (preferred) and AutoCAD
