Provide technical leadership and oversight across transmission line engineering projects, ensuring best-in-class design and delivery outcomes
Drive innovation in overhead line design, leveraging new technologies, digital engineering tools, and sustainable practices
Lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across engineering, environmental, and construction functions
Engage with key clients and stakeholders, influencing project direction and strengthening long-term partnerships
Contribute to business strategy, identifying growth opportunities within the Australian energy and transmission market
Anticipate regulatory, technical, and market changes, developing forward-thinking solutions that position AtkinsRéalis as a leader in transmission infrastructure.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A degree in Electrical or Civil/Structural Engineering or an equivalent
Chartership – RPEQ, NER, CPEng (desirable)
Proven experience in the design of transmission and distribution, with expertise in Transmission Lines
Excellent interpersonal and technical skills with the ability to develop and lead design teams and develop strong client relationships
Experience working in digital engineering environments and delivering to local technical standards and guidelines
Commercially minded, can understand the business needs of both AtkinsRéalis and clients.
