About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and manage an effective reporting system.
Lead the reporting strategy for the development sector through active engagement with the Executive team.
Direct the activities of the team to ensure efficient work in line with strategic project management plans, policies, and procedures.
Build and lead a motivated, competent team, managing performance and providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
Report the progress of programs and projects to the Executive team and stakeholders through quality progress reports, dashboards, and internal/external reporting deliverables.
Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely reporting to aid business decisions and track performance.
Manage development of reporting processes and standards, and collection, analysis, and reporting of project data including status, risks, issues, and performance metrics.
Collaborate with project teams to gather and refine accurate progress data, and optimize reporting systems and information flow.
Develop and maintain databases for each project and monitor data to identify trends in project health.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in project management, data science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or other related fields.
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in reporting and analytics, business intelligence, data management, project controls, project management, or other related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in large programs or projects in the engineering and construction industry.
Experience in publishing large volume reports or documents.
Experience in report writing and technical writing.
Excellent data visualization and desktop publishing skills.
Experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior management.
Proficiency in using project management tools and software.
Proficient in various reporting software, data visualization tools, and other Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Dundas BI, Tableau, and SharePoint.
