Key responsibilities & impact

Lead activities of the Automation group in Canada to generate profit and improve sales and operating performance
Plan, organize, develop and control activities to achieve company objectives
Ensure technical work is executed in accordance with quality requirements
Maintain relationships with other discipline directors to integrate Automation work
Develop and implement organizational plans to achieve long-term objectives
Review and analyze group performance and establish performance measures
Lead professional and technical staff in executing projects
Manage company activities in accordance with the established budget
Identify and pursue business opportunities with clients
Prepare reports and documents to monitor marketing and financial activities

What you’ll need

Engineering degree or equivalent preferred
More than ten years of relevant experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in decision-making and formulating recommendations on highly technical or complex issues
Experience in project definition and preparing technical proposals
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong sales and account management skills
Excellent negotiation, business and analytical skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills in French and English
