About the role

  • Support Site Assessment & Remediation type projects by largely assisting with and learning fundamental tasks related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including groundwater monitoring and sampling, and remedial excavation.
  • Project preparation, compilation and review of historical records, field work planning/debrief tasks, Phase I and Phase II ESA technical report writing/peer reviews and project close-out tasks.
  • Close collaboration with the assigned Project Manager as well as the project execution team.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary education in a related field (Certificate, Diploma, Degree, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office with proven advanced skills in utilizing Excel
  • Self-starter with the competence to take initiative and go beyond what the job situation requires
  • Willingness to learn new skills and serve as support in a variety of capacities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to change priorities to meet client and/or project requirements/deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work across a variety of time zones
  • Bilingual (English/French)
