Environmental Consultant
AtkinsRéalis. Support Site Assessment & Remediation type projects by largely assisting with and learning fundamental tasks related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including groundwater monitoring and sampling, and remedial excavation.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Site Assessment & Remediation type projects by largely assisting with and learning fundamental tasks related to Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including groundwater monitoring and sampling, and remedial excavation.
- Project preparation, compilation and review of historical records, field work planning/debrief tasks, Phase I and Phase II ESA technical report writing/peer reviews and project close-out tasks.
- Close collaboration with the assigned Project Manager as well as the project execution team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A post-secondary education in a related field (Certificate, Diploma, Degree, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office with proven advanced skills in utilizing Excel
- Self-starter with the competence to take initiative and go beyond what the job situation requires
- Willingness to learn new skills and serve as support in a variety of capacities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to change priorities to meet client and/or project requirements/deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work across a variety of time zones
- Bilingual (English/French)
