About the role
- Lead engineering activities for catenary (OCS/OLC), traction substations, and HV/MV/LV distribution systems
- Manage multidisciplinary technical interfaces (civil works, track, telecom, mechanical, systems)
- Oversee detailed design development, system integration, and technical reviews
- Supervise construction, installation methods, phasing, site testing, and commissioning
- Develop technical specifications, tender documents, and regulatory compliance requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng/OIQ) license required or eligible
- Minimum 10–15 years experience in railway electrification or traction power systems
- Experience with large‑scale transit projects in design, construction, testing, and commissioning
- Expertise in AC/DC catenary systems, traction substations, and HV/MV/LV networks
- Fluency in French and English
