About the role
- Responsible for the development and oversight of conceptual engineering design efforts and report preparation
- Oversee other Concept engineering and CAD support staff
- Participates in the production of minor in-house traffic design tasks
- Represents the Client at meetings, making decisions and recommendations on behalf of the Client
- Position may require limited daily and overnight travel on as needed basis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related Transportation Technical Field
- Professional Engineer Registration in the State of Florida required
- minimum of eight (8) years relevant engineering experience in transportation engineering since B.S.
- three (3) years of FDOT design experience
- Experience with toll facility/limited access projects is a plus
- Must be familiar with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Policy and Procedures
- General Engineering Consultant (GEC) experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office personal computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- working knowledge of SharePoint or other project management / production support systems
- Must be highly proficient with MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D software packages.
