About the role

  • Lead and manage studies and engineering projects for Minerals and Metals projects
  • Oversee cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines
  • Develop and control project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Conduct structured trade-off studies and risk assessments
  • Ensure technical quality and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Engage in process design, equipment selection, vendor coordination, and foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Master's degree or PhD being an asset
  • 10–15 years of experience in Minerals and Metals industry
  • 5+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams on large- and small-scale projects within Mining and Metals
  • Bilingual capabilities (e.g., English, French) being an asset
  • Strong understanding of process flowsheets, equipment integration, constructability
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, @Risk)
  • Familiarity with SmartPlant 3D, AutoCAD, and other engineering software
  • Operational and site experience in mineral processing plants
  • Knowledge of project safety standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
