About the role

  • Perform advanced geotechnical analyses, including 2D and 3D numerical modeling using software such as PLAXIS, RS, and FLAC
  • Lead and execute complex geotechnical design tasks for major infrastructure projects across transportation, energy, and urban development sectors
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports and provide independent technical reviews
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions
  • Support proposal development and contribute to winning new work through technical expertise
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team
  • Act as a technical reference for geotechnical design standards, seismic analysis, and soil dynamics.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with specialization in numerical modeling and soil dynamics
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant geotechnical experience, including major project delivery
  • Proficiency in advanced geotechnical software (PLAXIS, RS, FLAC) and seismic design principles
  • Professional Engineering License in Ontario or Quebec, or eligibility within 6 months
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with proven ability to produce and review high-quality deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced consultancy environment
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments within Ontario and across Canada.
