About the role
- Define project scope, manage resources, and oversee project delivery.
- Lead technical work in data analysis, hydraulic modelling, hydrology, GIS, and reporting.
- Collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, and planners.
- Support business development, including tendering and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop expertise in project procedures, including financial and change control, reporting, presenting, and quality assurance.
- Assist project managers and directors in delivering a range of strategic infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- A degree in Geography, Science, or Civil Engineering (ideally with an MSc or postgraduate qualification).
- Experience or working knowledge of 1D-2D hydraulic modelling (Flood Modeller, ESTRY, TUFLOW, InfoWorks ICM) — or a strong desire to learn.
- GIS skills — or a willingness to develop them.
- Experience in flood risk analysis for planning, development, and design.
- Experience in hydrological assessments — or a strong desire to learn.
