About the role
- Support engineering roles for nuclear projects
- Prepare, design, modification, coordination, and/or review of various systems
- Review the status of existing buildings prior to project design
- Assist in developing designs and technical specifications for systems
- Prepare drawings and construction documents
- Coordinate system requirements with the electrical department and architects
- Conduct site visits and inspections to review progress of construction
Requirements
- College diploma or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10 years in mechanical design and drafting
- Strong experience in cable tray routing
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Working knowledge in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Raster Design, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Navisworks Manage
- ASME Code knowledge considered an asset
- Ability to take marked up engineering drawings and incorporates changes into AutoCAD files
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment as well as independently.
