About the role
- Supplier Audit processes including planning, conduct, corrective actions, audit report, audit checklist, Supplier Acceptance letter, and proper filing of all audit documentation
- Performing Surveillance of Suppliers at their facilities to witness key inspections and review documentation packages
- Reviewing Procurement documentation to ensure quality requirements are correctly captured and communicated to suppliers
- Liaising with the Engineering Representative (ER) on issues requiring technical interpretation/guidance
- Reporting and escalating significant quality related issues to QA Manager, coordinating until resolution of the issue
Requirements
- University bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years practical working experience in nuclear or manufacturing field
- Working knowledge of Quality Standards including ISO9001, CSA N 285.0, CSA N299, CSA N286-12 and ASME codes
- Ability to manage several audits, bids, and surveillances concurrently
- Strong organizational skills and work planning skills
- Basic computing skills and functionality with standard Microsoft Office programs
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
