Requirements
Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification)
Experience of delivering complex stress analyses or structural integrity assessments (i.e. at least one of thermal-mechanical, fracture, fatigue, creep, impact)
Experience in writing accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports (e.g., assessment reports, basis of analysis, safety case references)
Comfortable with engaging with existing and prospective clients, working at their sites, and investing time in understanding their issues, goals, and processes
Working, or authoring bids, within a safety critical and heavily regulated environment (preferred experience)
Working with relevant codes such as ASME III, RCC-M, BS7910, R3, R5, R6 (preferred experience)
Experience in workflow automation, ideally using python (preferred experience)
Chartered with a relevant professional institute (or approaching application for registration) (preferred experience)
