About the role
- Work within small to medium sized multidisciplinary teams
- Juggling several projects simultaneously
- Engage in the development of engineering solutions to the industry’s most challenging problems
- Deliver right-first-time solutions for the most challenging problems in the energy industry
Requirements
- Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification)
- Experience of delivering complex stress analyses or structural integrity assessments (i.e. at least one of thermal-mechanical, fracture, fatigue, creep, impact)
- Experience in writing accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports (e.g., assessment reports, basis of analysis, safety case references)
- Comfortable with engaging with existing and prospective clients, working at their sites, and investing time in understanding their issues, goals, and processes
- Working, or authoring bids, within a safety critical and heavily regulated environment (preferred experience)
- Working with relevant codes such as ASME III, RCC-M, BS7910, R3, R5, R6 (preferred experience)
- Experience in workflow automation, ideally using python (preferred experience)
- Chartered with a relevant professional institute (or approaching application for registration) (preferred experience)
